Classic Fall Flats
Before everybody gets exclusively into boots, there’s still time to flaunt those flats! Here’s a roundup of what flats to wear this fall, all in the traditional season colors of black, brown and blues. Of course there’s a whole other category of glitzy glittery flats in gold and silver, but let’s keep these for another day.
Back to Black
I can never have too many black shoes. It’s a cliche, but as all other cliches this one’s also true: black goes with anything!
With that in mind, you must have a pair of classic black flats in your closet, and that goes for any season. This fall, try the comfortable and classy Born Julianne for a look that says chic simplicity, the office-to-anywhere black leather Softspots or these cute Emmie ballets by Lucky Brand.
The Brown Beauties
If you like taking long walks after it rains and adore nature, then there’s no better fit for foliage than brown. Take a look at these beauties, featuring the perfect fall color.
Our absolute favorite are the stylish Frye Regina Ballet flats, featuring a sleek vintage leather look and a lovely back detail. Other brown favorites are Minnetonka’s Kilty Suede Moc (not for walking in the rain though!) and the comfy Sillian Jetay from Clarks.
The Blues News
Dark blue is a hot color choice for fall & winter 2016, so keep with the trend and get one or two of these blues.
Nine West Onlee has a clean pointed toe classic look that we love. Also check out Sam Edelman’s Felicia flats with its chic front bow lace, and our long time comfortable favorite that never fails us – blue or any other color – Clarks Aria pump.
